  • Dear Vendor,

We hope you can join us at this year’s IATAI Conference. We will be at the Element by the Odyssey, Orland Park, Illinois for the first time this year. 2022’s IATAI Conference topped 115 attendees. We expect even larger numbers this year. It is the first time we have traveled to the greater Chicagoland area.

Venders are given an opportunity to introduce themselves and provide an overview of their company at the start of the Conference. We place all our vendors in high traffic areas. We have had a high level of interest from our
attendees in learning from our vendors.

Also included is the visibility on the IATAI web site. After registration information and payment is received, we will add your company information to the website as a bonus.

Sign up early to choose your booth location. Once fees are paid you will be eligible to choose a table location.

Details

Illinois Association of Technical Investigators hosts an annual conference and training class typically around late September or early October. The conference itself is three days long, beginning on Wednesday and ending on Friday. An evening reception greets guests the night before the conference begins and allows guests the opportunity to check in early and receive their welcome packet. Above all, it is a great time to enjoy hors d’oeuvres while mingling with other guests or network with experts in your area.

Conference Features

The conference features training seminars which are related to trending issues in the industry. Seminar topics are selected from feedback throughout the year. Live crash testing is the highlight of the conference. Three difference crash scenarios were planned this year, and were aimed to recreate some common types of crashes. The scenarios were an offset head on, a rear end and a rollover crash. All testing was performed on a closed city street. This setting created an excellent means for real world analysis. Each test was documented using multiple video recorders, drones, scanners, and electronic devices. At the conclusion of testing, this data is collected and analyzed before being presented the following day. In other words, this type of training provides a great way to associate classroom theory with real world experiences.

ACTAR Credits

In need of ACTAR Continuing Education Units (CEU)? Well attend the conference!

In May of 2022, ACTAR implemented a new way of tracking CEUs at conferences and other training events. This new way involves the use of the i-Attend Self Check-In application. The i-Attend Self Check-In application should be installed and tested before the conference. QR codes will be provided at the conference for users to scan in order to get the CEUs.
