Join IATAI at the Route 66 Raceway in Joliet on June 26th through June 28th for crash testing in support of law enforcement safety and investigations! 

An often overlooked hazard for law enforcement officers is the positioning of emergency vehicles during traffic stops or while assisting the motoring public.  In an effort to improve studies on emergency vehicle positioning, IATAI will be hosting live crash testing to support better training and understanding of vehicle placement for officer or responder safety.  Additionally, this event will also assist with the study of crash investigation findings for any stationary vehicle struck at highway speeds.

Each crash test will be documented using video, forensic mapping, digital evidence recovery, evidence scanning, and UAS analysis.  The data and findings from the crash testing will be compiled and presented at the 2024 IATAI Conference.  If you haven't registered for the Conference yet, click HERE to register.
