2024 Conference and 2-Day Advanced Commercial Data Systems and Analysis Course

This course will be taught by Steve Anderson and James Loftis.
Steve retired from the Ontario Provincial Police with twenty-three years of service. Steve has been reconstructing crashes since 2006 and has had a hand in over 550 reconstructions. Steve has assisted in over 100 live instrumented crash tests involving vehicles, motorcycles, heavy vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians, and barrier systems.
Steve is ACTAR accredited and was a past representative and assistant representative to the ACTAR Governing Board of Directors. Steve has been qualified numerous times as an expert in the field of Heavy Vehicle Event Data Recorders. Steve is a member-producer of the Society of Automotive Engineers and served on the Standard Truck and Bus Event Data Recorder Committee.
James Loftis retired from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) with twenty-three years of service. James founded the Traffic Homicide Unit at OHP and served as the commander upon retiring. During his time with OHP, James reconstructed over 500 crashes and implemented a crash investigation training program where he trained hundreds of troopers and police officers.
James has over 20 years of experience in crash reconstruction and is accredited by ACTAR. James has testified numerous times and has been qualified as an expert in both state and federal courts. He is a member of the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance and serves on both the Crash Data and Investigation Standards and Training Committees.
16 ACTAR credits will be available (application pending), and the cost for the application will be covered by IATAI.

In need of ACTAR Continuing Education Units (CEU)? Well, attend the conference!
In May of 2022, ACTAR implemented a new way of tracking CEUs at conferences and other training events. This new way involves the use of the i-Attend Self Check-In application. The i-Attend Self Check-In application should be installed and tested before the conference. QR codes will be provided at the conference for users to scan in order to get the CEUs.

Early Registration is open from now through August 16th, 2024
Regular Registration is open from August 17th through September 16th, 2024
Late Registration is open from September 17th through October 15th, 2024
Door Registrations will be $525 for members and $575 for non-members
Refunds, minus a $50 processing fee, will be made if the cancelation occurs more than 30 days prior to the conference. Substitutions of attendees can be made with prior notice to an IATAI board member.
If paying by check or invoice, approval is needed from the IATAI Treasurer. Please Contact Brad Brachear at treasurer@iatai.org. All checks must be received before October 10th, 2024. Failure to receive the check by October 10th will result in the attendee being charged the "Door Registration" price which will be charged on the first day of the conference.
Vendors will be given the opportunity to introduce themselves and provide an overview of their company at the start of the conference. Vendors will be placed in high traffic areas. Your company information will be added to the website once registration and payment are received.

In addition to the above sponsorships, IATAI is now offering vendors and sponsors the opportunity to have an exclusive 2-hour breakout session with attendees. The breakout sessions will occur on Thursday, October 17th. There are a limited number of breakout sessions. The cost of each breakout session is $2,000 and requires a completed registration form.
Vendors should register for the event online. Offline registrations will be accepted with approval from the IATAI Board.
